winter wonderland

we got back this afternoon from a spur of the moment weekend trip to big bear. we were actually on our way to the aquarium when i looked up at the snowy mountains and decided that we needed to take savannah up to the snow instead. sooooooo much fun to be had in the winter wonderland as my girl kept calling it. here's a 3 picture sequence that i had to post right away! LOL!!!

after several days of rain, we were both a lot stir crazy.  as soon as the rain storms let up for a bit Savannah & I headed out for some fun with foofy, umbrella & rain boots.  here's a few of my favorite shots of my girl.

Belly Love!

I got to shoot my sis and her belly with lil man inside early in January. So many to love, here's a lil selection of some of my fav's. Still wrapping my head around the fact that we're all grown up & starting our own families, not young and fighting over who has to turn off the light. LOL yeah we fought over lots of dumb stuff as kids, but man I love my sister now & sooooo thankful for the relationship we have today!

Friendly Fox & the Homies

So to most, my title might not mean anything. But wow! what a great part of my life! makes me giddy just thinking about those days, the people, the crazy good times, & and the lives God changed! Yep, tonight i pulled out the Forest Home album, and spent some great time looking over the pics & sharing some of the stories with my mentor. i spend so much time taking pics for other people, capturing their lives, which is such a blessing & a blast! but i think it's important as photographers to sit down and go through our own photos, the moments & times of our lives. i think i'll leave you with that for now, cause if i dont- DANGER! i could tell forest home- indian village stories for days!
